Overview:

A fantastic opportunity to own a very limited number of one of these hand built cars by The Dehavilland Motor Company. Completed in their factory in 2016. Dehavilland have captured the evocative style of the original 1960's icon but with the added bonus of modern mechanicals. This is the GTS model with removable roof panel. The car has only covered 3000 miles by its only owner from new. This is the most visually accurate Dino recreation available. 

 

Power & Drive train:

1800 Twin cam VVC 16 Valve injection engine, which is naturally-aspirated Inline 4 cylinder. The power is transmitted to the road by the rear wheel drive 5 speed manual gearbox. Beautifully made Ferrari gear shift gate, MGTF independent double wishbones, coil spring suspension, anti roll bars and discs brakes. All of this is fitted to the Dehvilland designed chassis. Stainless exhaust with double twin tail pipes, 16" Dino alloy wheels, 

 

Body:

The body has been detailed with many Ferrari parts and has been finished in Ferrari Rosso red coachwork. Genuine parts used are Dino metal bumpers in polished chrome, perspex headlamp covers, chrome side mirrors, outside door handles, rear lights and indicators, windscreen, side and rear glass.adges.

 

Interior:

Beautifully made seats as styled on the original, finished in Ferrari Tan hide with black inlays. Alcantara dashboard, tan Wilton carpets, classic chrome instruments, original style sports steering wheel, classic Ferrari toggle switches, period stereo, heater and air conditioning, removable roof panel which is easily stored behind the seats, electric widows, alarm / immobiliser with remote central locking, 

 

Paperwork:

Lovely build history folder with original Dino workshop manuals, one owner from new with only 3000 miles covered. Registered as " DVT GTS Dino and built 2016.

Company History:

DeHavilland Motor Company was founded in early 2011 with the intention of producing bespoke hand built British sports cars. DeHavilland set about redeveloping and refining every aspect of the original kit to more accurately replicate and capture the evocative style of the original 1960's icon. The result was a completely new car from the chassis up and by incorporating more modern and reliable mechanics the newly designated DVT GT and GTS were visually the most accurate Dino replicas to have ever been offered on the market.
