AK Sports Cars is one of the longest established Cobra kit manufacturers and this example ranks as one of the best we've had. Originally a display rolling chassis for AK hence the superbly detailed engine bay. It was finished off in 2007 and sva tested. Fitted with the ever popular Chevy 350 c.i. V8, it has been dyno'd at 304 bhp. RPM Edelbrock inlet manifold and Holley carb. Getrag 5spd g/box complete the picture. Beautifully polished and presented engine bay brings gasps from anyone peering under the bonnet. For the first owner, we had a DB Hard top fitted at the AK factory at a cost of circa £3,000. There is also a Mohair tonneau as well. 4 into 1 stainless side pipes with special order 'Cobra' heat shields. 17" Halibrand replica alloys, single hoop roll bar, heater, Smith's instruments, full luxury leather interior in anthracite, black Willans harnesses, Motolita wood-rim steering wheel, Aston style fuel filler. All brightwork bumpers etc. Clifford alarm system. With just 2,200 miles on the clock the car is as you would expect, in superb condition. The registration paper has a date of origin from April 1987 which means it can enter certain countries free of import duty. I would strongly recommend an early viewing of this car.

Pilgrim Cars are the un-disputed champions of the economical Cobra replica market having produced well over 3,000 kits since 1990. This particular example was built professionally to a very high specification and features a Repower Chevy 350 c.i. V8 with Weber 4 barrel carb. and new Tremec 5spd gearbox. (Cost for these was over £5,000.) 1 owner from new. Finished in GM Arden blue metallic and fitted with full luxury cream leather interior piped in blue with matching blue carpets. 17" Halibrand replica wheels with spinners, twin hoop roll bars, stainless side pipes with heat shields, heater, Panasonic stereo/cd. Built from mostly new parts and was displayed on the Pilgrim Cars stand at shows during 2009. 5,000 miles (warranted). Build history available. Built during 2005/6 and registered in March 2007. It has a date of origin from the donor car of 1992, hence the 'J' prefix no. plate. Highly recommended.
