Introduced at the 1989 Tokyo Motor Show, the Micra based Figaro was a sensation. Originally production was planned for 8,000 and you had to enter a lottery to be able to buy one! A further 12,000 were produced to satisfy demand although none were sold outside Japan. They were built to a very high standard at Nissan's special project 'Pike' factory, and have proved to be hugely popular in the UK.

The engine is a turbo charged 1.0 litre with automatic transmission and can achieve 57 mpg! this example is finished in the popular metallic pink & white with contrasting white leather. 2+2 seating and air conditioning. The SL500 was the flagship of Mercedes Benz, and this one is as good as they get! Originally registered by Mercedes Benz themselves and reportedly allocated to the Managing Director (though we haven't been able to verify this so far). Built during the era when Mercedes quality was legendary this example is superb in every way and fully loaded. Its no slouch either the 5.0 V8 with 5 speed auto box produces 320bhp and 347 lbs/feet of torque it can reach 155 mph with a 0-60 time of 6.3 seconds. Amazingly it can travel 28 miles to the gallon @ 75 mph. It has a decent sized boot (unlike its successor). List price when new was £65,000 plus extras so the total for this car was probably over £75,000.
