Fitting of the Interior Trim

Foam is placed on the seat for padding and the leather is cut to shape.	The seat is now starting to take shape with the cream leather being stitched and the black seat piping is being placed round the edge of the seat.

Test layout for looks and fitting.	Looking good ! Now the seat edge can be finished and the seat base installed.

New door cards have been made and are now ready to take the cream leather.	Black Wilton carpets piped in cream leather, have now been fitted to the interior.

Interior side panels being made and will be covered in carpet.	Dashboard being installed. The whole interior is now not far from being finished !

Shaun our auto electrician wiring in the dashboard.	Lots of wires needed !

Syd doing the easy part screwing the dashboard in.	Rear lights being wired and attached to the rear of the body.

Front lights being wired and attached to the front of the body.	Front bumper going on.

New black Willans 3 point harness seat belts being fitted.	Marc attaching the windscreen to the car.


New heat shields being fitted to the side pipes.	Nice big filler cap fitted ready for the fuel !

Body being marked out for the wing mirror to be fitted.	Bullit type mirror fitted.

New triple wipers fitted.	Beautiful Moto-lita wood rim steering wheel fitted with billet center cap.

The End for us but a new beginning for the Cobra !

And a whole lot of fun for its new owner! We hope you have enjoyed this montage of the re-build, it is always gratifying to see a neglected car turned back into a first class vehicle again and this is one to be truly proud of! (The boss who bank rolled the whole operation!).
