Hallmark History

Hallmark Cars was formed in 1984, and specialised in Panther and Marcos sports cars. Having sold over 600 of these cars during the 1980’s, the company recognised the need to keep up with market trends and during the early nineties, gradually switched its attentions to AC Cobra replicas and Westfield 7’s This switch proved very successful, so much so that a move to larger premises proved necessary. Based near Romford in Essex, the company consolidated its position and gradually increased its stock holding to 30 cars.

However after 6 happy years at Romford the space problem raised its head once more. This time Hallmark has moved to one big showroom encompassing the firm’s offices and vehicle preparation area all under one roof.

Our new premises in North Chingford, London E4, (right next to Epping Forest), still means excellent transport links for intending visitors.

With two airports within easy striking distance, (London City airport 20 minutes south and Stansted airport 20 minutes north) The North Circular Road A406 passes 10 minutes to the south and the M25 10 minutes to the north.


Chingford British Rail Station is just across the road with direct surface trains to London Liverpool Street (Journey time approx 30 minutes.)

Working at Hallmark Cars is a dedicated team of 5 enthusiasts 3 of whom are currently undergoing or have successfully completed City and Guilds courses in subjects related to Classic car preparation. The philosophy is to prepare customers cars to the same or higher standard than you would achieve for your own Classic car. This ideal means that many Hallmark supplied vehicles have gone on to win concourse awards, at some of the top Classic Car shows held around the country.

Hallmark supplied cars can often be seen advertised as such, and generally retain higher values than comparable examples. The staff at Hallmark Cars are always happy to give impartial advice about any aspect of Kit Car ownership, and welcome the opportunity to show you around the premises. For serious clients there is the added excitement of a test drive, which is bound to make you reach for the credit card!

The partners pride themselves in offering a fast professional service, but above all, are generally able to offer very competitive prices for well built and looked after cars. Payment can be in any recognised form, and at the moment they are able to offer a free collection service in most cases.
